At the end of 2020 Swarovski made the decision to close their DIY loose crystals sector worldwide, and we were unable to purchase any more from mid 2021. This has affected a huge amount of small business who stocked this brand. We had built up our selection over many years. As a result, as our stock runs out it cannot be replaced, and we have made the decision to swap over to the Czech brand Preciosa. Preciosa is of similarly high quality, and most lay people cannot tell the difference. This will be a slow transition for us as our Swarovski stocks were high. We will happily take requests for Preciosa colours and replace the Swarovski as it runs out with similar/equivalent Preciosa pearls.
