Description

Each strand is approx 42 cm long. The chips are around 2 - 5mm.

Picture Jasper gets its name from its colors which resemble a picture, or print. The mottled patterns and swirls in Picture Jasper are said to be reminiscent of natural scenes from the earth, especially landscapes.

Picture-Jasper is an opaque stone of the microcrystalline Quartz variety. What sets this stone apart is its extraordinary banding or veining which is created by silicate or petrified mud.
