Description

Strand is approx. 42cm long. Chips are 4mm - 10mm in length.

Rhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate mineral that ranges in color from light pink to bright red.  Rhodochrosite comes from the Greek word ‘rhodos’, which means rose, and ‘khros, which means color. It also goes by the name of Inca Rose, Manganese Spar, and Raspberry Spar. It’s mined in locations such as Argentina, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Germany, Spain, France, and Romania.
