Description

Conso is great for stringing beads, especially multi-strands. Generally to be used doubled. Conso will not fit through a standard beading needle, you need to make a 'harness' from a lighter thread such as nymo. Free download below for making a multi-strand necklace and finishing the ends.

What does size SIZE 69 mean?
Size 69 / Tex 70 / Govt. E Most popular size, best color selection. Great for lightweight and middleweight sewing. Use for outdoor furniture, leather, gear, garments, upholstery, drapes. Largest size for most home sewing machines.

Technically, thread sizes refer to the weight of a given length of thread - not its thickness. For example, with a Size 69/Tex 70 thread 1,000 meters of thread weighs 70 grams. The thread industry uses this standard because thread is too spongy to be measured with calipers. Also, the tightness of a thread's twist and its bonding affect its thickness.

Style G bobbins
G bobbins (size 46) are typically used in small and mid-sized commercial sewing machines for sewing garments, fabrics, leather, and upholstery. They are 0.390 inches (0.861 cm) high and 0.991 inches (2.187 cm) in diameter.
